POSTDOCTORAL POSITION available to study the role of inflammation in vascular and cardiac remodeling. The group focuses on the immunoregulation and immunotherapy of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases and other lung inflammation-related pathology. The regulatory role of the resistin family of protein cytokines, on NLRP3 inflammasome and their downstream pathways are actively being pursued at cellular, molecular and biochemical levels. Critical skills include a strong technical expertise in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and imaging, in the context of vascular and immunobiology. Highly motivated PhDs with a strong publication record are encouraged to apply. A strong background in immunology is sought.
